Generation Mojo Workshops

Body Positive workshops targeted at Mothers and Tween and Teen age daughters.

Imagine a world where our daughters made it out of adolescence more powerful and more body confident than when they entered it.  How much easier would adulting be then?  No energy wasted worrying about thigh gaps and instead all energy could be channeled bringing our most beautiful gifts into the world.

These workshops are designed to give our daughters tools to learn to treat their bodies as their best friends.  To turn down the internal critical voices and instead turn up the beautiful supportive empathetic creative ones.

The Luscious Order of Golden Shieldmaidens

Over 300 women have stepped forward to become part of Mandi Lynn's award winning photographic exhibition called "Every Body is a Treasure"  Women are covered in golden clay and then photographed as the treasures that they are.  It is a counterpoint to the 400-600 photoshopped images we see each day.   It is an emotional journey to become a shield maiden and those that step up to the challenge have sworn to pay it forward to help create a world where Generation Mojo is a reality for our daughters and grand daughters.

I had no idea what to expect…

To be honest I had no idea what to expect when I took my daughters to the photo shoot and workshops for Finding Venus, but I’m so glad I did. To share this day with my daughters and so many other amazing girls and women was actually quite moving. The message of respecting others and loving yourself is just such an important one. My girls felt safe to get involved, express themselves, share their feelings honestly and just have fun together. Thank you Madi Lynn.

A deep exercise…

It was so inspiring and delicious to be amongst such a variety of women from all walks of life, in all shapes and sizes, many with their daughters present (from tweens - teens) which was just a joy to see - these young women absolutely soaking up these rich and powerful messages from all of the activities we got to do. It was a day full of laughter and some tears, lots of sharing and plenty of boobs as the women who chose to stay for the evening segment partook in a photoshoot covered in glistening golden clay after a deep exercise in which we had the opportunity to heal from negative words and wounds we have carried about our bodies and self image. It was... magical. Thank you Mandi Lynn for an amazing experience!

Ka Ma

Her smile was bright again…

My 9 yr old daughter & I were so moved by this experience,we left the event in tears together...talking about everything on the way home that Mandi & her crew were bringing awareness to & special time just sharing our understandings of life. Her smile was bright again & her whole outlook about herself transformed!
I absolutely admire this pro active vision in addressing the hard stuff during sensitive years (stuff that is sometimes 'swept under the carpet' to 'protect' our daughters) & respect how genuinely it is collaborated with such love, compassion & contagious integrity. The sooner this incentive spreads, the better our nationwide well being will become for so many.

This is a moment of courage, strength & bonding Tahliana & I will never forget as mother & daughter...for that,we thankyou!
Spread the word ladies,it is so rewarding, now & for their future...I will be so proud to watch her applying what she has learned with her own daughters one day
